“ Famous for briyani. One of the oldest and longest surviving restaurant at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. Taste still the same as it was 20 years ago. Slightly expensive but exclusive. Only special people will appreciate this special briyani. ”
“ Tried the Nasi Kandar masala & nasi kandar ayam madu..ok lah not bad. The kandar curry not the thick one, fish curry quite nice. The briyani with ayam madu is nice, had a taste of it. The murtabak ayam best - crispy and loaded with chicken. The masala tea is nice too, not too overpowering spices and the milk is just nice. Drink it warm. The kurma chicken equally nice, not spicy or too much spices. ”
“ This place holds a lot of childhood memories for me, as I used to come here with my family. The prices have always on the higher side, so it was usually a once a year treat. Recently, I noticed the briyani portion has become smaller, it wasn’t quite filling. ”
“ An old KL Jalan TAR establishment. I've been going here since I was a wee nipper, more than 30 years ago. The food is always consistent and delicious, especially the Nasi Briyani Ayam Goreng with poppadom. I personally think they have the best briyani in town. Aside from the food, service is also super quick, although they always try to upsell the mango lassi. The only downside is that the food is a bit on the expensive side (makes you think twice because it's RM30 a pop) and the lack of cheap parking. ”
“ This restaurant has maintained their quality and taste of food since the 80's. Few of their employees worked there since they were young. My recent trip was absolute perfection. Really tasty Indian Muslim food with good service. The biryani with fried chicken is one of the best in that part of the city. The deep fried squid was amazingly crispy and perfectly spiced. Prices have gone up, but it is fair considering the cost of everything. They also serve imported sweet mango as dessert. It was really a delightful eating experience. ”
“ Family lunch for 4. Ordered 3 briyani fried chicken & 1 briyani telur Ikan. Also ordered the thick mango juice super nice. Comfy ambience, friendly & quick service and great sedap food. ”
“ A great spot for authentic Malaysian Indian food! This restaurant has been serving since 1984, and the tradition comes through in every dish. The food was delicious, with a perfect blend of spices that reflects true culinary craftsmanship. Service was fast, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The interior design is a real highlight stepping inside feels like being transported back to the 80s, with a nostalgic charm that enhances the overall experience. ”
